About Mission

The Lalu Members Club especially design the following activities for our members to enjoy and relax.

Thirty years ago on Caoling Mountain in Yunlin, a child who loved to dream dreamt of building
the most beautiful hotel in Taiwan one day, a hotel that everyone would want to visit. Today,
the dream has come true. The Lalu, a new milestone in Taiwan’s hospitality industry, has redefined
the resort hotel in Taiwan and given “the vacation of a lifetime” new meaning.

The boy who loved to dream is today a middle-aged man with grey hair, Lai Cheng-I, President of Shining Group.
He believes people should hold on to their dreams, not letting go of them easily, and work hard to create history.
Life is not about having abundant wealth, but about using what you have. When The Lalu was completed,
Mr Lai felt strongly about these words. For that reason, he made a decision to open The Lalu as a private
guest accommodation for good friends with same interests to drink, talk happily and share experiences
and creativity.

In years past, the people who came in and out the Lalu Building were either presidents or generals.
It was nearly impossible for common people to view what it was like inside. Today, to commemorate
the establishment of the building, The Lalu is accepting applications from the top 500 leaders
and influential figures in Taiwan society for membership in the reaching of perfection for this
new century.

National Freeway No.1 (Sun Yat Sen Freeway, Zhong Shan Freeway) :Take Freeway No.1 South to Changhua System Interchange(192km), and change to Freeway No.3 South to Wufong System Interchange(214km), then change to Freeway No.6 East and exit at Ailan (29km) Turn left onto Provincial Highway No.14. Take right onto Provincial Highway No.21 just before the Ailan Bridge. Soon thereafter around 16 kilometers, you will arrive at The Lalu, Sun Moon Lake.
Driving on Your Own(From Kaohsiung , head North on National Freeway)	National Freeway No.3 (Formosa Freeway) : Take Freeway No.3 North and exit at Mingjian(236km). Take Provincial Highway No. East through JiJi to Shueili. Soon after passing Shueili Snake Kiln, turn left onto Provincial Highway No.21 at Dingkan. After around 17 kilometers, you will arrive at The Lalu, Sun Moon Lake. National Freeway No.1 (Sun Yat Sen Freeway, Zhong Shan Freeway) : Take Freeway No.3 North to Changhua System Interchange(192km), and change to Freeway No.3 South to Wufong System Interchange(214km), then change to Freeway No.6 East and exit at Ailan(29km). Taiwan High Speed Rail	1. Reservation has to be made and guaranteed 24 hours prior to the departure time. 2. The transportation fee for one way trip is NT$1100 per adult, NT$550 for per child (under 12 years old). 3. Only hotel room guest can have access to this service. 4. At Taiwan High Speed Rail Taichung Station (THSR), the driver will wait for you in front of the passenger's service center in the main Hall (please see map). 5. Please arrive at the pick up place before the departure time of shuttle bus, the driver may delay its leaving by 5 minutes at most. 6. Wheel chair and baby car seat are available upon request, please inform us at time of reservation. 7. The hotel keeps the right to revise the above content without prior notice.
